UNREGISTERED PERSONS WHO WISH TO TRAVEL ON 11 TRAINS DEPARTING FROM LUDHIANA SHOULD REACH GROUNDS OF GOVT COLLEGE FOR GIRLS 4 HOURS PRIOR TO DEPARTURE TIME: DEPUTY COMMISSIONER

Deputy Commissioner Mr Pradeep Kumar Agrawal has informed that a total of 8 trains would depart for Uttar Pradesh and Bihar on May 28, 2020. He said that out of total 13, eleven trains would depart from Railway Station Ludhiana and two from Railway Station Doraha.
He informed that any person who wish to travel on these trains, but has not received conformation SMS, should reach the grounds of Government College for Girls, near Bharat Nagar Chowk, Ludhiana, or Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Sahnewal, at least 4 hours prior to the train departure time.
While issuing the schedule for trains departing from Railway Station Ludhiana, Mr Agrawal said that train for Nawada (stoppages at Lucknow, Aurangabad and Rohatas) departed at 12 noon, for Jamui (stoppages at Sultanpur, Babua and Aurangabad) at 2 pm, for Supaul (with stoppages at Saharsa, Begusarai and Hajipur) at 4 pm, for Madepura (stoppages at Gorakhpur, Saharsa, Khagria) at 5:45 pm, for Patna (stoppages at Jaunpur, Hardoi and Baxar) at 7:30 pm, for Nalanda (stoppages at Bareilly, Chhapra and Patna) at 9:15 pm, and for Mirzapur (stoppages at Itawa, Fatehpur and Prayagraj) at 11 pm. He informed that each train would carry 1600 migrants. He further informed that the Punjab government is paying for travel, food, water and pickup service from designated points. He informed that the medical screening of all passengers is being done after which, they are issued medical certificates by the District Administration.
