Free COVID-19 Vaccination Drive organized at Central University of Punjab

: As a part of World’s Largest Free Vaccination Campaign initiated by Government of India nation-wide to prevent the spread of COVID-19, a special Vaccination Camp was organized at the Central University of Punjab, Bathinda (CUPB) on Monday under the patronage of Vice Chancellor Prof. Raghavendra P. Tiwari.
CUPB administration conducted this programme in association with Community Health Centre, Sangat (CHC Sangat) to immunize faculty, non-teaching staff and outsourced staff members.
On this occasion, a team of six persons from CHC Sangat led by Shri Om Prakash, Health Supervisor, visited CUPB Campus and administered Covishield Vaccine to CUPB employees.
Prof. Zameerpal Kaur, Controller of Examination (Officiating), Prof. Monisha Dhiman (Director, IQAC), Officers & employees of the university participated in this vaccination camp.
Prof. Vinod K Garg, Dean Student Welfare, expressed his gratitude towards Dr. Anju Kansal, SMO, CHC, Sangat & her team for extending essential support to organize this Vaccination Camp.
In this Vaccination drive, more than 150 teaching and non-teaching employees along with their family members took the first / second doze of coronavirus vaccine.
