Five MLAs support Government’s move to jobs to two MLAs’ sons, lash out at opposition

Defending the move of Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh and entire cabinet to give jobs to the sons of two MLAs, five senior Congress MLAs have come out in the support of the government and said that the decision has been taken as per policy under which kins of the terrorist affected families, freedom fighters and those who give their lives for the country get jobs in Punjab.

In a joint statement, the five MLAs including Kuldeep Singh Vaid, Balwinder Singh Laddi, Santokh Singh Bhalaipur, Balwinder Singh Dhaliwal and Satkar Kaur said that the government is duty-bound to take care of the families of those who got martyrdom for safeguarding peace and communal harmony of the country and lashed out opposition parties for making hue and cry unnecessarily.

They accused the opposition parties of misleading the people and said that parties’ leaders have no issue and trying to disrespect the terrorist affected families, freedom fighters and those who give their lives for the country get jobs.

They said that the government has provided jobs to every family whose member sacrificed life for the country. They asserted that those who lost life for the nation never be forgotten and the government would always stand by such families.

They told that Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh has taken this historic decision to compensate for the loss of the families.
