APPLICATIONS BE GIVEN TO DPO, DCPO BY JAN 20

Deputy Commissioner Barnala Mr Tej Partap Singh Phoolka stated that as per directions of Punjab government, it was mandatory for Non-Government Organizations (NGO), working in the field of providing free housing, food, education and medical facilities to the needy children, to get registered.
He said that these organizations require to register themselves under section 41 (1) of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act 2015. If such organizations do not get themselves registered, an action will be initiated against them under 42 of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act 2015. Such NGOs should immediately contact District Program Officer of District Child Protection Officer (DCPO) at the tehsil complex Barnala by Jan 20, 2021 and get themselves registered.
