28 APPLICATIONS CONSIDERED DURING PENSION ADALAT- SIMARPREET KAUR

Pension adalat was held today at the meeting hall of District Red Cross Society to address the issues of Punjab government pensioners on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Barnala Mr Harish Nayar.
SDM Tapa-cum-assistant commissioner (grievances) Madam Simarpreet Kaur presided over the pension adalat wherein 28 applications were discussed. She said that this pension adalat is held every year especially to deal with the cases of employees that have retired from Punjab government.
She added that of the 28 applications discussed, two have been forwarded to Accountant General Punjab office for early disposition. Five applications have been forwarded to concerned departments and another 21 are being sent to various banks for timely redressal.
Bhopal Singh and Kuldeep Singh from office of AG Punjab, Pensioners Association Punjab president Master Bakshish Singh, District Treasury Officer Jagtar Singh, assistant LDM Piyush Goyal, superintendent Balwinder Kaur and branch in-charge Seeta Ram were present.
